CJ Latimore (born in Ridgeland, SC.) lives and works in South Florida and Long Beach, CA. Latimore received a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Miami and a Masters in Computer Science from Barry University. Latimore’s artworks are mixed media pieces that combine different materials and textures that evoke the look and feel of immortality. Often approaching community-driven and socially-engaged topics, Latimore’s work illustrates his mission to create masterpieces inscribed into the motto “Keep Your Legacy Alive.” Public art commissions include those for the Audrey M. Edmonson Transit Village I & II, Miami, Florida, 2019, and for the City of Long Beach, CA, 2006.
CJ Latimore received the JM Family African American Achievement Award in 1999.

Latimore and his team have specialized knowledge of designing, fabricating and installing artworks in glass that enhance the built environment, always considering the quality and nuances of light, the style and function of the architecture, and the thematic ideas of the architect and client.
